Listening to Toni Braxton, this morning. Sometimes, sad songs that deal with loss, etc., are so much more beautiful than many other songs.

Tonight, my beloved football (soccer) team is playing its first match of its season. Come on, you Blues :) . Trouble is, kick-off is at 8 p.m., so the match will finish at 10 p.m - and I’ve got an early start, tomorrow morning. Argh.

Since I’m in such a reflective mood, this morning, I thought I’d share with you a song I wrote many years ago, and remixed in 2025. It’s called A Sign Of Peace.

In My Heart

Fish, for dinner. Had an interesting doctor’s appointment, today, the summary of which is simply this: must eat healthily and exercise more. Argh.

Creativity has been rather stagnant, of late. Ever since I started writing songs (back in 2018), I’ve written a number of songs per year, and now have about 40 published songs to my name. This year, however, it’s not been as prolific … though I’m personally proud of every single song I have actually written.

One of the songs I have written this year has been “In My Heart” (the first song in the eponymous album, “In My Heart"). I personally think it’s one of the most beautiful songs I have ever written … a song that pulls no punches. Listen for yourselves, below.

Welcome to my new blog! I am EsperPleno , creator of beautiful music, and (most importantly, for me) a sentient being, just like you.

In this blog, I will write about my everyday life, and feature some of my music … old favourites as well as, hopefully, new songs.
